Alex's interest in web site design and development can be traced all the way back to elementary school where his interest was initially sparked. During these years, early to mid nighties, the computer revolution was barely underway. Unlike nowadays, computers were not a common household product.
The first computer Alex ever operated was an Apple IIc. He used this system to design & print banners and greeting cards for most, if not all, of the his school's events. At the the time Alex was merely 10 years old, at most. However, even at such an early age he was proving very capable of grasping new concepts and mastering new technologies!
Within the next year big advances were made to the world of computers. Despite its slow speeds, the average person could now easily go online and explore what the world had to offer. Unlike now, the world wide web was a very small place and not many web sites were around. Despite this, Alex's interests were further sparked.
Curious to understand how a web site came to be, Alex began to teach himself how to develop a website. He accomplished this by visiting websites, which were much simpler and basic than those of today's times, and reverse engineering the design by analyzing source codes.
